Aging in America 2014 Annual Conference


The focus of the Phoenix Healthcare newsletter has evolved for our readership; from a focus on integrated delivery systems to many other healthcare deliverables. The foundation for the newsletter was  Thompson’s” Operational Manual on Integrated Delivery Systems” published in 1995 that William Shaw, was the author.

 The newsletter was a vehicle for updating the 7,500 subscribers who represented hospitals, physicians, health insurance payers, particularly the self-insured segment and consultants. We have shared solutions and conferences from the health plan industry (AHIP), the payer community (SIAA), Provider associations (AAPPO’s) and many others. We have covered the long term industry with information from Leading Age that represents 6000 not for profit providers of skilled as well as ALF facilities.

We recently shared technology solutions for the aging experience for consumers to remain at home as well as solutions that impact the family, the provider and other community supports.

We will be sharing the latest and greatest trends from the Society on Aging conference. We will address, what David Gehm of LeadingAge commented from a recent board meeting. He asked-“What are the ways we could, how would we, if we reached out in this way, what would be the 5year implications of…”
